Evan and Matthew's concert

Today was Evan and Matthew's spring concert at the Woodland School in Weston. As usual it was fun to see the kids having such a good time, and proud of what they are doing.

Memorial Day

Today was a beautiful Memorial Day. Pops and I decided to go across the street to walk through the "Old Parish Cemetery." Its a beautiful place and I would love to be buried there. It has a lot of meaning with its name being the same as the Corp. of the insurance agency that Dick owned. You also can see the condo, and its behind the office that Dick was in for 26 years. How wonderful would that be!!! Its very old, of course, Maybe the spirits of the Civil War will talk to us. After that I took Avery, Mack and Jay to see Night at the Museum down in Foxboro. They seemed to enjoy it. Off to Evan's baseball game in Weston. Evan pitched the first inning and did a great job. I just love this time of year!

Chris''s baseball

It was of the hottest days we have had so far this spring, but with the gentle breeze the night was wonderful. A great night for baseball, and all the kids were there. The field has a big play area, and Mack, Jay and Avery ran around with friends. Chris played baseball and did a great job. The game was tied and as it went into extra innings Chris took the mound. Although they didn't win, Chris throws smoke!! I'm not kidding. He is one strong kid and has strong legs for pitching.

Kims Robing

Sunday we went to Kim's Robing ceremony at Boston College. She is now Dr. Smth. The only one missing was Rick, but he was there in spirit. A great day for her and all of us. Congratulations Kim, and thanks for the pictures Dini.

Added Posting --- The Twins

As I mentioned in the posting below, the four lovely ladies you see here met for lunch yesterday. This is the new Birthday picture that was taken in the condo as everyone was leaving. So, what do you think? Do you believe, or is something wrong with the camera?

Last years picture The twins. I do not know which is which.

Which one is my mother? I don't know either

Mama and Auntie---- Another Birthday

Another birthday celebration for Mary and Louise! I remember last year with the big cloud hanging over Marcia's head. This year, Susan drove up from Cheshire for our trip down memory lane. We met up at the condo, had many jokes and laughs over decorating, marriage, moving furniture etc. Getting later than we thought, we decided to go to the Bubbling Brook (with chocolate cake in hand). It wasn't my best cake, as it kept crumbling. Taking trips down important side streets of days long gone, we finally arrived to enjoy onion rings, club sandwiches and salads. Oh yes, the house special, corned beef sandwich with fries. Both Mama and Auntie would be 101. Now, I am waiting for another picture of the four of us to be sent to me, and when it comes you won't believe it!! Did I mention a cloud over Marcia's head, well here we go again!! Stay tuned for an added posting.

My Lost Week

This past Wed. Dick was in the Brigham and Woman's Hospital for a trial pain pump put in his back. I don't know where the time goes, but one day ran into another. I spent two nights in very uncomfortable conditions ( not the Plaza) trying to sleep. Clanging, banging, beeping, all night and day. We were exhausted when we got home, and the pump didn't work. Everyone, including the doctors and nurses were wonderful, and it certainly is a fantastic hospital. The only thing that was fun was ordering off the "room service" menu. We even got sick of that. Coming home to our little condo certainly confirms, "there is no place like home". Slowly getting back to normal and getting much needed rest. I hope we don't have to do that again!

Jerry Remy

I felt very bad for Jerry Remy. I love his commentary during the Red Sox games. His humor will be missed---don't be gone too long Jerry, it won't be the same without you !! Jerry Remy Air Guitar

Chris's baseball game

Tonight Pops and I went over to see Chris play baseball. He is going to be 13! I can't believe it. It rained a little, but we stayed and watched. Chris was great on second base. The bottom picture is of Jays shoes. I just LOVE them. Mack and Jay are a crack up. Makes me laugh all the time. Chirs played a great game, and I really enjoyed seeing him play. Hope to make more-so much fun.

Cameron's lacrosse game

Cameron plays lacrosse, but I don't know if he loves it as much as his dinosaur! It was fun seeing the kids this weekend and going to the different games. Too bad it rained on Sun. but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Cam was going out to dinner that night for his birthday celebration. I managed to pull the umbrella out of the car for about 10 minutes. Enjoy the pictures.

You can hear the rain

Lacrosse------ Noah

While we were in NJ we went to Noah's Lacrosse game. I loved it. The kids are growing up! He plays defence and I thought he was great, of course.

Cam's Birthday

This weekend Pops and I went to NJ to see the Hollander's. It was Cam's birthday on Mon. and we wanted to celebrate his 8Th birthday. I gave him that dinosaur as part of his gift. It even spit water!

Happy Birthday Cam

Opening Day

Last Thurs. I went to Weston to watch Matthew's first baseball game. He was very excited to have the season start. Even though it was cool, we had a good time watching the kids dance around, pregame practice, and silliness by 2 dozen little boys. I love watching them! No one loves baseball like Matthew.
