Dot gone 3 years

I know for some it seems like yesterday, but it has only been 3 years since Dot passed away. Another year and another year - the time slips by. I still remember all the fun times and laughs we had. Will always miss you, Dot!

Chip and Erin

Today Pops and I went to Marshfield to visit Chip and Erin. They lived with us in the apartment for 2 plus years. When they came to Nichols St. they weren't even married and now all these years later they have a home and baby. Their house is great and they are doing all kinds of work on it. James Jr. below, is adorable. A very good boy and looks to boot. Chip cooked steak tips and with salad, and potato salad, we had a good lunch Off to get a ice cream. We drove along Duxbury Powder Point, and King Ceaser Rd. with their beautiful houses. All and all a wonderful day!!

Boston College

Today Pops and I went to Boston College with Rick and Tyler. We walked all around the campus and went into the book store and Admissions building. It couldn't have been a better day for strolling around the campus. Tyler got a BC football shirt with Flutie on the back. Really cool.

Three generations of Smiths touring the Boston College campus.

I wish I was 18 again!!!!

Smith family cookout

The usual 4th of July cookout was held down in Sandwich, Ma. This was the first year that Rick was able to go and Tyler joined us. It was probably the best day we have had in weeks, so it made it very enjoyable. The "younger" group spent time at the beach and then joined the older aunts and uncles up at the house for hot dogs, steak tips, chicken, hamburgers, cole slaw, potato salad, well you get the idea. As usual, Jeff and Ann Smith put on quite a party. Thank you so much for a wonderful 4th.
