I FEEL IT COMING !!!

Rosy made this hanging Halloween decoration for me. Isn't it wonderful!!!!! It made my day and now I'm looking forward to my "favorite" holiday. The hat sparkles-----maybe I like Halloween because of the candy--! The trees are starting to turn a dusty color and even though its still warm, I know IT'S COMING!!!! Happy Fall everyone.

Stan Upton

Our brother in law Stan passed away on August 10th after a long battle with cancer. A wonderful friend and a happy person always made our family times fun. He will be missed by all of us and we want to thank you Stan for being in our lives.

A Revolting Development !!

Today Pops and I decided to go out to the pool to read, and I was going to cook chicken to take to Valley Pond in Weston. Neither one of us knew they had changed the spring on the pool gate. ( do you know what's coming)? Pops walked in first and I followed...but the gate spring was so tight that the wrought Iron gate snapped back hard and cut my ankle very badly. It cut my heel right down to the tendon (I was told) and I am now the proud owner of 12 stitches, crutches, and a week without driving. Leg up, sit still, don't move, read alot, and in general don't complain!!! The side note was that while I was tending to my injury, Pops fell and was laying on the pool deck. We were like two old crazy people.

Evan's 11th Birthday

Tonight we celebrated Evans 11th birthday at PF chang's at Legacy Place in Dedham. Kathy Way's son John Henry is one of Evans best friends, and he came to the party. The food was outstanding.
Love the lanterns in the ceiling. Very pretty

Evan's blueberry cake with homemade frosting. He LOVES blueberries!

Amanda, Matthew, John Henry, and Evan outside the restaurant.

This is a very serious conversation. Both boys are going to camp on Sat. together.

Rick, Chieko and Boys in Japan

Last week Rick left for Japan to meet up with Chieko and the boys, Justin and Zackery. They took the boys to Suzuki violin camp and these are some of the pictures that Rick posted. He said it was amazing and all the people in the first picture are people, (Mostly kids) that take the Suzuki method of learning to play the violin.
